Emergency Preparedness Plan
Preparation is critical to our salvation. Both ancient and modern prophets have encouraged true followers of Jesus Christ to prepare themselves in every needful way (D&C 109:8). Indeed, Jesus Christ has commanded us to prepare ourselves for the days that lie ahead. In response to this admonition the Yuba City Stake desires to help its members to be more temporally prepared for the tumultuous times in which we live. This will help our families be more secure and will give Ward leaders information that will be useful in times of great need. This plan is intended to give members a simple path to basic temporal preparedness.

STEP 3: Complete Level One and Report to your Ward
Once the criteria for Level One have been completed for your family you can report to your Ward Representative. A Family Preparedness Sheet can be turned in with basic information about your preparedness level. This will help ward leaders assess needs during an emergency event.
